'Bridgerton' star Nicola Coughlin isn't just a fan favorite on the Netflix series that's turning everyone's head right now, it's also her birthday! The actress just celebrated by sharing BTS footage from the show, including a shot from one scene that didn't make the final cut.
Even those who don't love 'Bridgerton's historically inaccurate diversity or steamy romantic plotlines have got to admit: Nicola is absolutely adorable.
Did A Cheeky Dog Ruin This Scene?
Deleted scenes from 'Bridgerton' have yet to be released, but that didn't stop Nicola from sharing a still from one of them on her IG. It shows her character, Penelope Featherington, talking to Eloise Bridgerton and Lady Marina Thompson while on 'promenade' in the gardens.
"This is the day I got sunburnt, fell over 3 times, and stabbed Claudia [Eloise] with a parasol," she told fans in the comments section of her post.
Those mishaps might not have gotten the scene scrapped, though. Her theory? The dog's FULL EYE CONTACT with the camera made the shots just a little too 'Fleabag' for the regency period, as she explains in the pic's caption.
